The Alliance for Cancer Gene Therapy (ACGT) is a non-profit dedicated to cancer cell and gene research. Distinct from other research non-profits, ACGT invests donations by supporting leading cell and gene studies in collaboration with top cancer researchers and institutions. Although successful with traditional donors, ACGT wanted to attract a younger and more social media-savvy audience to up-level fundraising, research initiatives, and partnerships within the biotech community.

Optimistic and driven, the new brand embodied these qualities through a distinctive identity paired with crisp, action-oriented messaging. The branding system extended into a digital ecosystem with a singular focus: to find a cure for all cancers by funding critical research by leading academic and industry organizations.
ACGT’s approach has been instrumental in advancing six approved therapies, all emerging from CAR T-cell research initially funded by ACGT. The website showcased the direct connection between philanthropic support and breakthrough medical achievements to emphasize donors’ impact on research.
Quarterly digital and print newsletters informed donors and partners about the latest groundbreaking research and significant milestones.
A social media campaign across multiple channels, including Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube, significantly expanded the reach, allowing ACGT to expand engagement with new donors.
